“Max Q” refers to the point at which an object experiences maximum dynamic pressure while accelerating through the speed of sound. At this point, the object experiences the greatest amount of stress on its structure, making it the most dangerous part of the journey. In concept, this is similar to the forces our bodies experience while performing at our limit. As such, we have to engineer rehabilitation and training to reflect those extreme forces in order to perform at our desired level/limit efficiently and without sustaining injuries.
